Are these after market flex cable any better than the original ones?

A friend asked me to look atr his wife's one of these - because the screen failed (big surprise lol). One of the torx screw heads holding the plate down onto the lcd connector rounded just by looking at it. I think they put the screw in crooked at the factory or more or less glued it in. The screw heads may as well be made of butter. Utter crap imo. I won't have (modern) Apple products in the house.

I took mine apart to clear some fluff from the fan. I didn't disconnevt any plugs. After rebuilding, it will not power on (LED next to DC input socket does not light in green or red, and holding the power button does nothing). Any suggestions? Is their a chassis intrusion switch?

I have the same laptop and I have less FPS with the graphics settings at minimum and at 1366x768, does anyone know why?

Hey I'm just wondering if anyone knows a fix, when i downgraded a little x appeared by the volume button and I couldn't adjust it so its stuck at mute, I've tried everything but nothing works. Another issue I'm facing is that my trackpad doesnt work anymore, anyone know fixes?

I have a 13' mid 2012 macbook pro with a issue where no matter what drive i use, the question mark shows and the laptop doesnt detect a drive (it spins but i cannot use it as it does not show.) is it the cable? because ive taken it to a shop and i've been told it is a board issue but i do not think that. the front led light works fine. pls help

Thanks for the great video. However, the cable to connect the SATA drive is not actually missing. It is that one folded up in the middle of the metal foil protection of the bin, with a QR code tag on it.

Wow! It is insane how they optimized the game! If I understood it right, it does not just freeze, break the graphics or just run on low frame rate like the worse stop motion possibly. It just reduces the rate smoothly and renders it all! It is really impressive!

How do I take the plastic tube bit on the stand off ?

The Hard Drive screws of my Alienware m14x are completely rounded and i can't figure out a way to remove them in order to get to my Hard drive.
